Godalming College has always been committed to providing its student with the best opportunities for their future and this year we have made it to the top of the list. As many as nine students from our 2020/2021 have been accepted to Oxford and Cambridge universities. According to the data from the Department for Education that is the highest number of any state funded college or secondary school in Surrey. The success of 12% of our students being accepted into Oxbridge is backed up by our continuously good exam results.
Our aim as a College is to provide our students with a broad and varied programme of study and activity which extends their intellectual horizons, develops their skills and awareness and builds their confidence. We believe this effectively prepares our students for their next steps, whether that is university, apprenticeships or employment. We pride ourselves on fostering confident, independent young adults.
Some of our students have just finished their entry exams for Oxford and Cambridge for admissions in September 2023. We wish them the best of luck for their application.
