Summary of Application Year

Date Event What?
July and October 2016 College Open Evenings There are two Open Evenings in July and October for students and parents to visit the College. These will give you an opportunity to find out more about teaching and learning, get a feel for the campus and its facilities, sample the extensive range of enrichment opportunities, and generally soak in the atmosphere. On these occasions the College will be fully open and available for you to explore at your own pace. All teaching staff will be present to discuss the courses that you are interested in. Many current students volunteer to help out on these evenings and you should chat with them to get an inside view on what it feels like to be a student at Godalming College. We always say that our students are the best ambassadors for the College and we’re sure you’ll find their perspectives very helpful.
November 2016 to April 2017 Course Advice Sessions Once you have applied, you will be invited to attend the College at a designated time to receive information about specific aspects of student life at Godalming and to have a one-to-one discussion with an experienced curriculum adviser to talk through your choices. Course Advice Sessions take place from November through to April.
June 2017 Going to Godalming Days for Students Following your GSCE examinations in June 2017 you will have the opportunity to come to College for a day to experience what it will be like.
