The College is able to offer financial assistance in the form of bursaries to help students with the direct costs of study, where there is financial hardship or difficulties in completing a course because of financial reasons.
16-19 Bursary Fund 2018/2019
The Bursary Fund is available to assist students who may have difficulties in completing their course because of financial considerations and to assist students with unforeseen emergencies. Speak to our Bursary Administrator if you are not sure whether you would qualify for a bursary.
The Bursary Fund helps students with direct costs of study such as transport, books, equipment, exam resits and field trips. If you need further details, please visit the GOV.UK
website or Contact Us
Visit the Gov.UK website for information about the Care to Learn Grant
to help with the cost of childcare for young parents (available to under 20's).
Please read the Bursary Fund Information Leaflet 2018 2019 before you complete the application form, which you can download here.
If your application is successful, you will be reimbursed in arrears at the end of each half term into the account you have specified on your application form. It is therefore important to retain bus or train tickets and receipts for items purchased for College. These will be used as evidence for making payments.
If you have any queries at all, please telephone Val Jones, Senior Administrator Bursary Fund on 01483 423526.
