Performing Arts BTEC National (level 3) Diploma
We recommend this course for those that a looking for a wrap-around foundation programme, those who are looking to go onto drama/performing arts schools. We strongly suggest including Drama and Theatre A Level in your choices to create that wrap around programme. We will partner this with either and EPQ in Performance or an Arts Award to complete your programme.
This Performing Arts course gives you an understanding of all aspects of Performing Arts including acting and dance options, and combines it with the opportunity to focus on both performance and production support. You will work as part of the College’s ClassAction Performance Company and you will be challenged to work to professional standards of creative collaboration. This is a practical vocational course, requiring imagination, sensitivity and the ability to get on well with others. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. There are high expectations of students on this course, but it also offers the opportunity to perform with the best at the very highest level. You will be encouraged to find your own unique artistic voice as a practitioner.
