IBM prepares students for assessment centre interviews

Sam Hector and Alastair Hillis-Wragg, both former Godalming College students, along with two other colleagues from IBM led a hugely successful workshop with Upper Sixth students in October.  70 students attended the Preparing to attend an assessment centre workshop:  in groups they completed two real exercises which tested their team work, leadership and communication skills.  The team from IBM observed the exercises and then gave valuable feedback to the students on their performance.  The students who attended enjoyed and valued the experience, which will stand them in good stead as they apply for School Leaver Schemes now or look further ahead to graduate employment.
