Pitching to Parliament

Four students made their way to Westminster to pitch their ideas on how to use technology and social media to engage young people in politics. The group made the College and their Politics teacher very proud as they impressed the teams from schools and colleges with their well prepared presentation.

Dan and Friends

A group of current students known as the Friends of Dan are currently supporting the work of the Dan Eley Foundation and helping at fundraising events throughout the community. The commitment of the students, led by upper sixth student Tessa Duncan, has contributed to the enourmous success of the project this year.

Waterloo Road welcomes Max as new student Justin Fitzgerald

Max Bowden, an ex-student of Godalming College’s Drama and Performing Arts Department has made his TV debut in prime time drama Waterloo Road. In the 10th series, Max plays Justin Fitzgerald the new Headmasters son. Justin is mixed up and broody after the break-up of his family.

In the summer of 2014, a group of students left Godalming College and began a month of adventure in Nepal, a country famed for its stunning scenery. It was an incredible experience that wil be pretty hard to forget.

Outstanding Results for Godalming College students

The College has improved its A level pass rate to 99.4% and its A*-C grade to 82.2% and sustained an already high A*-B grade rate at 60.3%.

A festival of Art, Design and Media

July 10, 2014
Godalming College hosted a showcase event of students’ work, which included displays from subjects such as Art, Textiles, Photography, Graphic Design, Product Design, Media and Film. Parents and VIPs were invited to the College for a preview evening on Monday 7th July and enjoyed a glass of wine and live music in the piazza.
