Upper Sixth student Ben Sheppard is the proud recipient of an Army Scholarship which recognises his full potential to become a regular Army Officer on completion of his A levels and undergraduate degree. Ben’s dream has always been to join the Army, to have an active lifestyle and see the world so when he spotted the chance to be funded through college and university it was an easy decision to apply.

A 100 strong capacity audience in Studio 816 was entertained and provoked by ClassAction’s “PROJECT.i.d.” induction performance at the start of this term, featuring fragments of a variety of genres of the performing arts. Project i.d. introduces our first year practitioners to the Studio 816 audience. Andrew Pullen, Head of Drama and Dance said “After just two weeks our first year practitioners have formed a performance company – such is the dedication of them and their subject tutors.

Aiming High at Godalming College

In 2015 63 students at Godalming College took part in the Aim High programme, which introduces high achieving students to the entry requirements of Oxford and Cambridge universities or specialist courses such as Law, Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine or other prestigious courses. These specialist universities or courses have very competitive tests and interviews and commonly only a small number of those applying will successfully get an offer of a place.

ClassAction practitioners filled Studio 816 to bursting point when we welcomed Lost Watch Theatre Company to Godalming. Their production of “Goodstock” began its tour at Godalming College following its premiere at the Edinburgh Festival this Summer

Over 100 ClassAction practitioners filled every found space in Godalming College’s Performing Arts Centre to present the inaugural production of the 2015-2016 season. Our first year practitioners mixed with some second year practitioners to present this first production.
