Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in December 2019, Godalming College in Surrey is one of the best sixth form colleges in the country.  With outstanding teaching and learning at the heart of our student experience, we consistently achieve impressive results.  Our campus provides attractive and stimulating spaces in which to work and study reflecting our lively, vibrant ethos.

Trainees will be given a fixed term contract over the training period, which is two years, and will divide their time between teaching and learning support duties. The PGCE training course fees will be paid by the College.

We can offer a welcoming and supportive environment in which to do your teacher training.  Our recent Ofsted inspection noted:

‘Leaders support staff very well. They take the well-being and workload of their staff into account when determining new processes and policies.  Staff benefit from extensive investment in professional development opportunities, which helps them develop both their subject and classroom skills.  Staff are highly positive about working at the College.’

The actual salary will depend on the proportion of time allocated to teaching but we envisage that it will be £22,500 approx.
