Godalming College is seeking candidates to join its Board of Trustees. The College is a successful Academy Trust that offers a broad curriculum of 40 different subjects at A Level, BTEC and GCSE to around 2,000 16-19 year old students. It employs about 200 staff and has a turnover of £10mn per annum. The Trustee positions are voluntary, non-executive positions. The College would particularly welcome candidates with experience of property development/management, finance or education.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future direction of this successful sixth form college. The Board of Trustees is responsible for providing strategic leadership, and creating robust accountability, oversight and assurance of the College’s educational and financial performance. The Board is passionate about, and committed to, continuous improvement of the College for the benefit of our students.
