Lamorna K (Photography A Level)

I found Photography A Level at Godalming enriching due to the range of applicable skills it gave me. Whilst studying Photography, I was taught many methods of shooting, editing and presenting my photographs and the skills I gained from being taught how to use a camera and photoshop, have given me transferrable skills that I have used in other parts of my life. Additionally, studying specific photographers and analysing my own photographs has given me a deeper insight into photography as a medium of art.

One of my favourite parts of the course has been the resources available to me whilst studying at Godalming. As a photography student, I have access to a professional studio, film, a darkroom and all Adobe products. This, partnered with the consistent support from the teachers, creates an engaging environment to work in.

I would really recommend A Level Photography to anyone thinking of pursuing an art subject, regardless of previous experience due to the in depth teaching we get of all the key aspects of photography and the level of freedom we have to experiment with.
