The College Community

There is a strong sense of community at Godalming College. Students make new friends quickly and there is a lively friendly feel to campus life. This is reinforced by the + Enrichment offer, which provides opportunities to be active, to explore new opportunities or study for additional qualifications.

In a survey at the end of the academic year students were overwhelmingly positive about their experience at Godalming. Students feel strongly that they are part of a caring and committed community and that this is a key factor in helping them to flourish.

Godalming College is a truly invigorating and enjoyable environment which is far more than just somewhere to study. As Student Union President, I'm incredibly proud to represent a vibrant, diverse community of passionate students, supported by dedicated staff who continually encourage us to achieve our best. What makes the Godalming experience so special is the balance between independence and belonging: not only does our large cohort enable you to find your people, it also provides you with the freedom to grow into yourself, succeed and flourish.

Taking the next step in both your academic and personal journey is really exciting and I'm confident that Godalming offers the best stepping-stone between school and whatever future you choose. The two years may go quickly, but the skills, memories and unique community you're part of here will last forever.
