Godalming College is looking to appoint a Music Technician to join our well-resourced and successful Music Department.

Full Description:

Music Technician

Required from: 26th August 2025

Permanent, Part Time / Term Time + 1 week. 
4 days per week 8.30am to 4.30pm (ideally Monday to Thursday but this can be flexible and at the discretion of the Head of Music). Also required for up to 7 evening concert commitments throughout the year.

The Music department provides a rich and varied curriculum suitable for all students interested in the music industry, delivering two A level courses; Music and Music Technology as well as the level 3 BTEC in Digital Music Production.  The technical support is key to providing the high standard of provision. In addition to this, we offer a variety of enrichment activities including concert orchestra, jazz band, two choirs and multiple smaller bands and ensembles as well as the RSL Music Practioners Level 3 Qualification. 

The full-time salary range for the role is £25,479 - £27,979 including fringe allowance and depending on experience. The actual salary would be £17,442-£19,154. This is based on 4 days (28 hours a week), Term-time + 1 week *(40 weeks with the additional week to cover the evening commitments)
