Teacher of Economics

The College is eager to appoint a suitably qualified and innovative A-level Economics Teacher on a part or full time basis.  An experienced teacher or an enthusiastic new entrant to the profession would be welcomed. The College can accommodate an immediate start, but appreciates that a January start will suit most applicants. As this is currently an extremely difficult subject to recruit for, both locally and nationally, an exceptional payment of up to £2,500 will be offered upon successful appointment and completion of probation as appropriate.

The College is eager to appoint a suitably qualified and innovative teacher A-level Economics teacher. Depending on the wishes of candidates, we can offer full time but also can be flexible as to the size of part time contracts, so please indicate your preference within your application.  An experienced teacher or an enthusiastic new entrant to the profession would be welcomed.

Salary is according to the Sixth Form College Teachers’ pay spine, currently up to £48,355 pro rata per year including fringe allowance.
