It has been a vibrant and positive day at Godalming College. Although results are available digitally it is heartening that students wanted to come to College, and it was wonderful to welcome so many students (and parents) to our results day brunch.
“Our Godalming College Class of 2025 have achieved a fantastic set of results at both A Level, and BTEC Level 3, and we are incredibly proud of you” says Emma Young, Principal of Godalming College.
“Today marks the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and personal growth. In receiving your results today, it’s exciting to look toward the future, but it is also a good time to reflect on the amazing journey you have been on to get to this point. It is important to acknowledge that, for some students, success isn’t just about grades. Managing to complete qualifications whilst dealing with significant challenges in life is something to be equally proud of. Remember your results don’t define you. Who you are, what you value, and the skills you’ve developed are more important as you take your next steps, whatever they may be.
Results day is also a time to thank and celebrate our highly talented and dedicated teachers who have supported and guided students on their courses. As a College we are very much a team and the role that our wider support staff and Trustees play in this success is also important to acknowledge today. Let’s also not forget the significant role parents and carers play in providing support and encouragement to students throughout their time at College. This is a big day for you too, and I thank you all.
Congratulations again Class of 2025. We wish you every success in the exciting journeys ahead, and we hope you’ll stay in touch through our Alumni programme.”
