To kick off the summer and wrap up the year in true ClassAction style, we decided to do something a little… wild. What if we staged a brand new musical in just 6 days?
Well — we did it!
‘EVERYTHING IN COLOUR’ was a fresh new musical packed with rebellion, nostalgia, and pure 90s energy.
Summer 1995 and Britain’s on fire… not just from the heatwave. Britpop is ruling the airwaves, Cool Britannia is in full swagger, and the nation is waking up from a long, grey hangover. New Labour are rising and the streets are buzzing with possibility. Something’s in the air, and everything is about to change.
This was a bold new musical. Nostalgic, rebellious, and judging by the feedback from our audience, unmissable.
Andrew Pullen, Head of Drama, Dance & Performing Arts here at Godalming College: "Everything In Colour was the ultimate playground for our young practitioners — a bold, challenging project that demanded imagination, resilience, and full-hearted commitment. This joyful young company rose to it with energy and purpose. At ClassAction, we don’t just train performers — we shape fearless theatre-makers who push limits, break barriers, and redefine what’s possible. Our work goes far beyond ticking boxes. It's about nurturing craft-skills, instilling ambition, and empowering the next generation to reach higher, dream bigger, and create work that speaks to our world today. With this project, they didn’t just meet the challenge — they exceeded it."
