Safeguarding at Godalming College

At Godalming College, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels able to thrive. Our dedicated Safeguarding Team works closely with students, families and external agencies to promote wellbeing, identify concerns early and ensure that appropriate support is available when needed.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. All staff receive regular training and are committed to creating a culture where students feel confident to seek help and share concerns. We take a proactive, student-centred approach to protecting young people from harm, both on campus and online, ensuring that every student can learn and develop in a safe environment.

If you have a safeguarding concern about a student or member of our college community, please contact our Safeguarding Team at safeguarding@godalming.ac.uk. If someone is at immediate risk of harm, please call 999.

If you want to report a concern about a young person - Report a concern about a child or young person - Surrey County Council
