I chose to study Travel and Tourism because I love the world of travel and aviation and have always wanted to work in the industry. I have thoroughly enjoyed the course and learning about all the different sectors within Travel and Tourism, particularly the marketing unit where we looked at all kinds of tourism organisations.
Travel and Tourism has helped me in my other studies to understand how these organisations work and what they do to be successful. Travel and Tourism was also the sole focus of my EPQ project, where I looked at the impact Concorde had on the travel industry. After college I hope to go on to work in the world of aviation, bringing with me skills and knowledge that I would not have gained without studying this BTEC course.
