I chose the BTEC in Travel and Tourism because I always knew that it was an industry that I wanted to work in but I was unsure about what role I would take. I have enjoyed exploring the different sectors of the industry and in particular the World in Travel and Tourism and the Marketing units. This has helped me understand the operations behind the scenes and the business sectors have become the most interesting parts for me. That’s why I have applied and been fortunate enough to be accepted on a Business Apprenticeship with British Airways. This will involve me having multiple placements in all the business departments at BA’s headquarters. This would not have been possible without studying this BTEC course.
